It's not really a band, i'd say its more 2 people who create the perfect mix of eclectic sounds. But the name i think is just awesome. It's so much fun to say.

After the third album was made, it was announced that Shpongle was over and done with. It has just been announced that a fourth album is being made and will be released in early 2009. Yessss

Updates! New album will drop in November 2009. That puts it firmly in the top 5 of my most anticipated albums of 2009. The title will be "Ineffable Mysteries from Shpongleland." Also coming out sometime this year is a live dvd which will be incredible.
