never gets old
The rings of this Keywork mean so much more than the Olympic rings right now. I am beyond excited for an announcement, and that little piano thing is beautiful!
Getting pumped! Cannot wait.
So, when I visit Coheed's sight all i get is a black screen and no music :( Anybody know why this is?
Countdowns like this allow me to be patient in other worldly things such as waiting in line for Tim Hortons' , waiting for food at a fast food place or waiting at the bank. Coheed, you've managed to make me more patient in life. Thank you...... NOW END THE DAM COUNTDOWN
05/19/10 10/28/10 04/27/11 09/20/12 03/21/13Don't want to read too far into things, since it seems to just be a play on the keywork, but if you look at the Fav Icon for the page (usually to the left of the URL) it's just a triangle with a circle inside it and half of it is "bold". Like I said, could just be a play, but may also hint to album artwork or something? Just a thought...
All my computer shows is the wretched Black Screen..ruining my life again :(
I've got music but a black screen... It's kind of nice.
Do we have a pretty good idea of how much time's left, when the end of the countdown will be?
Some time Monday
The countdown will be over by the time I figure it out. The trollery is strong with the Coheed.
I think the question is this, at 12 o clock tonight will 25% of the day section of the clock disappear sort of like how the minute circle works. Or does the day circle slowly decrease. On second thought this thinking would completely throw away the thinking of the hour circle.... Telling time in this manner is extremely confusing.
Its how children feel when they look at a regular clock
I've been watching it for a while now. bottom right is seconds, top is minutes, bottom left is hours, and center is days. the days period is at 1/4 right now, and i doubt it's been up since before today, which means that it hits zero around tuesday. It just his 9:00 pm where I am (central), and when it did, the bottom left lost an increment, and went from exactly half to slightly less than half. eyeballing it, it looks like it's in 24 increments, so at 8 am central tomorrow morning, we'll lose another chunk on the day-ring, putting us at half. 3/4 sunday morning, and full on monday. I think it will actually hit zero on tuesday, though, because I noticed that at 8:59, the top wheel was completely empty, and at 9:00 it was full except for one chunk. So, when we lose the last day piece monday, we will have exactly 24 hours until it hits zero, which means at 8 am on tuesday, we'll be done waiting (this time, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they have several countdowns for several announcements like they did with yobr or nwft).
Thanks for doing the math
Yeah, don't assume it's a four day circle just because 25% of it is gone. For all we know this thing could count down until October.
The whole Coheed going independent thing is awesome and exciting. I can't wait for what's in store. :)
Not really sure if it means anything but when viewing the site in Chrome, the logo on the tab at the top of the page is just the triangle with one circle in the middle. Could it possibly mean anything?
Knowing Coheed its probably a countdown to another countdown which will lead to another 10 countdowns.
Super Sad. My computer wont let me view the countdown clock or listen to the music being played, which from what you guys are saying is awesome. :( Anybody know why this might be?
It's two of the deathly hallows. We just need to find the elder wand.
Well, looks like the pledge music page is set up, at least according to google >.> https://www.google.com/#hl=en&output...w=1440&bih=767

I can't seem to find Coheed at pledgemusic.
Someone wanna explain what Pledgemusic is?
Music is really beautiful. F**k I can't wait.
FINALLY SOMETHING IS HAPPENING
(That isn't some totally sweet touring with Iron Maiden and TOTALLY blase movie announcements...yep.)
Did some tracking. Bottom right is seconds. Top is minutes. Bottom left is hours and center is days.

This is so freaking exciting! I love how this band announces things. You can tell that it's Josh playing that beautiful keyboard part too. His left hand style is unmistakable. I hope that means lots of good keyboard introduction/transition music on the new album, like the old days!! I love those themes.
